From the very beginning Alexis partnered with Converse footwear designers every step of the way to design her own shoe. Her background in architectural design made her uniquely qualified to deliver one of the best new skateboarding models in recent memory. My role was to not only deliver the footwear to market consistently across a large omni-channel offense, but to also raise the profile of one of Converse’s signature athletes. Fast forward to 2020 and the Verona returned, this time redesigned for women, by women.
